I'm Thinking of Giving Up on My Relationship With My Granddaughter. Her Attitude is Beyond.
Briefly

If it makes you unhappy to spend time with your granddaughter, you can stop doing it. But cutting people out of your life isn't an easy task. The good news is that a twelve-year-old doesn't stay twelve forever. If you walk away, you'll probably regret it.
Start by trying to figure out if it's really something you're doing or just her general attitude. Talk to her parents to understand if she really 'hates' you. She might just be acting out towards everyone.
You could also find a middle ground between 'giving up' and being so present with her. Every weekend is a lot to see a grandchild, especially one you aren't getting along with.
