Experience: I'm 70 years old and climb a mountain every day
Briefly

At 70, I continue to engage in physical exercise daily, a routine I adopted after being inspired by an article on running decades ago. Becoming dedicated to exercise transformed my life; I have relished its health benefits for over 45 years. Showing others the importance of persistence, I still challenge myself physically and mentally in my beautiful Chongqing surroundings.
Despite the physically demanding work as a porter, I dedicated time each day to run, demonstrating how vital exercise remained in my life. I rose before dawn for my runs, even on harsh weather days, emphasizing the importance of commitment to fitness. My routine allowed me to efficiently balance working hard while harnessing the health and mental benefits of exercising.
Living in a city surrounded by mountains pushed me to find unique ways to challenge my body as I aged. Climbing steep paths and experiencing nature invigorates me, proving endurance pursuits can be pursued irrespective of one's age. By imitating animal movements while traversing Gele Mountain, I found a playful yet tough approach to fitness, intertwining my love for nature with physical exertion.
After retiring from physically demanding jobs, returning to my hometown brought ease and beauty into my life. Now enjoying the stunning landscapes around Chongqing, I'm continually motivated to embrace new challenges. I prioritize hiking and exploring, which allows me to maintain fitness while appreciating nature. My philosophy remains: fitness is not just about physical strength; it intertwines with joy and mindfulness.
