After rumors circulated about the potential recasting of Black Panther, Marvel Studios' VP Nate Moore confirmed that there are no such plans. Following the death of Chadwick Boseman in 2020, Marvel opted not to recast T'Challa for the sequel. Moore clarified that the studio hasn't engaged in significant discussions about future installments, including Black Panther 3, which is still in early stages as director Ryan Coogler completes his current film.
