Marvel Cosmic Invasion drops its all-star cast of heroes into a galactic battle against Annihilus, who is using an army of parasitic bugs to take over the universe. Campaign mode plays out across over a dozen locations in the Marvel multiverse, including the Savage Land, Genosha, Wakanda, and more, with a rogues' gallery of villains leading up to the final battle with Annihilus. The campaign unfolds across 16 stages, each of them ending with a unique boss.

It's been nearly two years since Disney surprised Star Wars and Marvel fans by bringing The Mandalorian, Loki, and other marquee original series to 4K Blu-ray. The vast majority of Disney+ content remains exclusive to the streaming platform, but all three seasons of The Mandalorian, both seasons of Loki, the complete story arcs of WandaVision and Obi-Wan Kenobi, and more have physical Collector's Editions with steelbook cases, three art cards, and on-disc bonus features.

On October 1, Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu announced and released a free, playable demo for the upcoming Marvel Cosmic Invasion. The demo contains two full levels with boss fights, supports both local and online co-op, and features nine playable characters: Rocket Raccoon, Nova, Phyla-Vell, She-Hulk, Venom, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Captain America. Marvel's Wolverine is alive and killing. Four years after it was revealed at PlayStation Showcase, Sony's superhero slasher got a second trailer at the State of Play livestream on Wednesday. Just as it had been reported in the weeks leading up to the event, Insomniac Games unveiled a gory, gritty gameplay trailer for Marvel's Wolverine as the final announcement at State of Play. The Spider-Man developer also confirmed that its next superhero action-adventure title will launch on PS5 in fall 2026.

For the kids, there's a lot to love. There are the action montages, a bright retro futuristic setting, a visual style that is gee-whiz superhero cool, but in a comic way - shiny and light and not over the top. The movie is just more palatable for kids than most other Marvel movies, emotionally and cognitively. The superheroes are relatable as family but they also play the part of role models well, interacting with and caring deeply about the public they serve.

"The Fantastic Four: First Steps" earned $40 million from 4,125 North American theaters, a 66% drop from a healthy $117.6 million debut, despite strong reviews.

Cosplay continues to be a major draw at conventions around the world, and this year's San Diego Comic-Con was no exception. The 2025 event featured some of the biggest and most elaborate costumes yet, with fans showing off characters from "Star Wars," "Marvel," anime, and classic cartoons across the convention floor.
