LOS ANGELES -- Marvel Television and Marvel Animation gave fans plenty to cheer about during their showcase panel at New York Comic Con. Hosted by Phase Hero's Brandon Davis and Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum, the presentation featured special guests, exclusive footage and a few major surprises from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley surprised the audience with the first trailer for "Wonder Man," directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

According to , Marvin Jones III, aka Krondon, has been cast in Spider-Man: Brand New Day as Tombstone. Jones already voiced Tombstone in Into the Spider-Verse, where he's Kingpin's right-hand man and head of security for Fisk Industries. Because Marvel's Spider-Man movies are set in another universe, it's likely Brand New Day 's version of Tombstone will serve a completely different role.
When Neversoft released Spider-Man on the original PlayStation on August 30, 2000, the superhero video game landscape was bleak. Licensed games were churned out as quick cash-ins with clunky controls, uninspired level design, and a general sense that superheroes couldn't have a distinct feel in a medium where plumbers and hedgehogs could be heroes, too.
