The yellow wind warning was in place until 10 a.m. this morning, and has left behind more damage than anticipated.
It's believed power lines were also down between Castlebridge and Curracloe.
Fallen trees have been reported in the Ballagh, just after the school in the direction of Enniscorthy, while a fallen tree at the entrance to Johnstown Castle has since been cleared.
