Moment woman pushing pram dodges getting it by speeding driver during police chase
Briefly

Jack Williamson, 29, led officers on a high-speed pursuit in and around Sutton-in-Ashfield on 14 September, and veered towards the woman, who was forced to jump out of the way as he drove through a pedestrianised area. This reckless driving was compounded by his disregard for traffic signals, as he drove on the wrong side of the road and mounted the kerb to overtake other drivers. His actions threatened lives and showcased a blatant disregard for public safety.
Williamson later pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. In court, it was noted that his actions during the chase reached speeds above 70mph in 30mph zones. His sentencing at Nottingham Crown Court resulted in a 14-month jail term, reflecting the severity of his offenses and the potential consequences of his reckless behavior.
