On Valentine's Day, a woman in her forties was shot outside the Three Horseshoes pub in Knockholt, Kent. Witnesses reported hearing loud bangs, initially thought to be fireworks, amid a chaotic scene with patrons screaming and calling for help. Despite immediate emergency response, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, believed to know the victim, fled and was later linked to a car and gun found nearby. Police continue to investigate and are searching for the suspect, with concerns that he may have entered the water after escaping.
At the time, around 30 people were at the pub for dinner, while 20 more were in the bar with the dinner service underway.
Police later received reports of a man on the wrong side of the barrier and we are not ruling out the possibility that he may have entered the water.
