Essex reality star targets individuals profiteering from deepfake porn industry
Briefly

Georgia Harrison, a former reality TV star, has created a two-part ITV series exploring the dangers of deepfakes and image-based sexual abuse. Following her ex-partner Stephen Bear's conviction for sharing a private film of them, Harrison advocates for stricter laws and accountability against those creating deepfake content. She expresses her concerns about implementing newly announced laws prohibiting such practices and emphasizes the importance of bringing offenders to justice. With support from her new partner, she feels more empowered and resilient than ever, aiming to raise awareness about these critical issues.
Since making the show, obviously the Government and (safeguarding minister) Jess Phillips did announce that now the creation of deepfakes will be illegal, but I'm just unsure at the moment of how it's going to be implemented.
I want someone to be made an example of. I want them to either get a huge fine or jail time, and then hopefully the other platforms will be like Right? We're in trouble here.
