Kreg Tool Corporate Headquarters / Neumann Monson Architects
Briefly

The new global headquarters for a leading pocket joinery tool manufacturer merges a 50,000-square-foot office with a 105,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Set on a sustainably managed 25-acre campus, the design focuses on innovation and collaboration by eliminating traditional silos between departments. A central Marketplace connects the manufacturing and office areas, promoting impromptu gatherings and effective communication. Employee wellness is emphasized through ample daylighting, meeting spaces, and recreational facilities, while energy efficiency is prioritized with photovoltaic systems. The facility's design reflects the company's values and Midwestern roots.
The design amplifies innovation and agility by deconstructing previously siloed teams, creating spaces that facilitate collaboration and connection within the organization.
A central Marketplace serves as the facility's 'heart', connecting its 'hands' (manufacturing) with its 'head' (office) to enhance productivity and employee interaction.
