On Monday afternoon, a man driving a white SUV caused a series of accidents in Etobicoke, striking multiple vehicles and resulting in three drivers being sent to the hospital. Police responded to the scene at Lake Shore Boulevard West and Kipling Avenue. The driver fled the initial crash site, hitting several other vehicles before finally being apprehended. Police reported that the debris was scattered across the road and a 31-year-old man is facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. No pedestrians were involved in the incidents.
According to Duty Insp. Brian Maslowski, the driver of a white SUV struck a vehicle and fled, causing multiple crashes and injuries.
Maslowski described the incident as a 'horrific scene' with numerous vehicles damaged and injuries reported among the drivers involved.
