Since the expansion of our cashback rewards program, we've seen a noticeable increase in rewards claimed for groceries and gas, reflecting our push for in-store usage.
It's an expansion of the daily use habituation that we want people to start to think about when they think about PayPal.
We're also pushing the Venmo debit card for in-person purchases, encouraging consumers to use it for everyday transactions like hiring local services.
The past 12 months have been a fun grind as I've restructured the management team and redefined PayPal's business strategy.
