It's also why I've decided to jump from place to place every few weeks, to play my part in boosting the economy without contributing too much to this issue, though I know I still most likely am.
Evidently, remote workers are doing more harm than good, yet many following in the same footsteps as me would be inclined to disagree.
Tourism, in essence, is a beautiful thing. It allows us to immerse ourselves in cultures vastly different to our own... and can be hugely beneficial for inhabitants when done right.
But, wary of how it's affecting those who've grown up in these now very popular areas and who deserve to be able to stay if they want to, I think I'll be holding off for a bit.
