Tolga Öncü noted that 10% of the second-hand home-furnishing market is made up by IKEA products, highlighting its significant presence in this space.
The platform, currently live in Madrid and Oslo, aims to enhance the experience of both buyers and sellers while capitalizing on the growing resale market.
By simplifying the selling process and offering incentives for sellers, IKEA Preowned is well-positioned to compete with existing second-hand platforms like Facebook Marketplace.
