How His 'Hustle' Became a Business on Track for $300 Million | Entrepreneur
Briefly

Feeling disenchanted with his finance job, Mike Adair pursued his passion by founding Red's All Natural, a frozen burrito and breakfast sandwich company, in 2009. Inspired by his wife's homemade burritos, he aimed to create a product that would bring people together. Despite initial struggles, including the bankruptcy of a key supplier, Adair's determination and entrepreneurial spirit led him to innovate and connect with consumers. With a focus on quality, Red's has grown significantly, reflecting Adair's commitment to passion-driven business practices.
I just wanted to do something that I [loved]. Never in a million years did I think that would lead me to burritos.
I was running from grocery store to grocery store, trying to sell them and doing a ton of demos on nights and weekends.
I had to [go through] the back door and pick up my chicken burritos. Of course, I did leave a check for the burritos.
Red's was officially born in 2009.
