Storied Italian restaurant in San Francisco has been sold
Briefly

After 51 years, the owners of Tommaso's Ristorante Italiano in North Beach have announced their retirement, selling the nearly 90-year-old institution. Although under new ownership, the restaurant's menu, name, and staff will remain unchanged.
The decision to retire was influenced by the physical toll of running a restaurant and the desire to enjoy their remaining years. The ideal successor was hoped to be a family member, but due to different career paths, this was not feasible.
