One of SF's most popular bagel shops is expanding to downtown
Briefly

Schlok's Bagels & Lox, known for their popular NoPa shop, is set to open a new location in downtown San Francisco. Co-owners Zack Schwab and James Lok chose the Financial District due to its proximity to many catering clients and the increasing foot traffic as office workers return. The new shop will feature seating and serve a full menu. They express optimism about the area's revival, seeing a trend of small businesses re-entering the neighborhood, showing confidence in San Francisco's future growth.
"It made sense for us to diversify and have one neighborhood location that's absolutely cranking on the weekends and then one downtown that's hopefully quite busy on the weekdays."
"Having spent a lot of time in the area over the past year, you can just feel that it's getting busier and busier, and I think based on history, it's pretty silly to count San Francisco out."
