Africans recruited to work in Russia say they were duped into building drones for use in Ukraine

Many young African women were misled by social media ads that offered free plane tickets and adventures in Europe, only to find themselves working in factories in Russia.

The reality was far from what was promised; instead of pursuing careers in hospitality, they ended up assembling Iranian-designed drones for war.
