Gen Z is glamorizing office culture after facing the isolation of remote work: 'Like being in school again'

Only about 11% of Gen Z workers would prefer to be fully remote, compared with 34% of non-Gen Z.

"Starting new experiences should always be somewhat exciting, bringing nervousness, joy, and a little fear. If young people want to be excited and romanticize office life a bit, I say let them go for it," career coach Nadia Ibrahim-Taney.

Gen Z, after experiencing isolation at home during the initial work years, now finds excitement in office routines like dressing up, desk decor, and regular schedules.
