Apple announced it is changing how end-to-end encryption works with iMessage to prepare for the impact of quantum computers on current cryptography standards.
In response to potential quantum encryption attacks, Apple is implementing a custom encryption protocol that blends existing Elliptic-Curve cryptography with post-quantum cryptography.
