Extremadura is offering digital nomads up to €15,000 to relocate to the region, including funds for housing and land, aiming to enhance local economies.
The region, known for its low cost of living and rich landscapes, requires digital nomads to stay at least two years to benefit from the grants.
With a total budget of €2mn, Extremadura plans to support around 200 remote workers, offering varying amounts based on location and age.
Applications for these grants are set to open in September, welcoming digital nomads of all nationalities who meet Spain's residency requirements.
