Crustacean, a beloved Vietnamese restaurant known for its roasted Dungeness crab and garlic noodles, is relocating to the Financial District in San Francisco. As the original Polk Street location prepares to close, the An family, led by Monique An and her husband Kenneth Lew, will introduce a more upscale dining experience. The new restaurant will feature classic dishes from Master Chef Helene An, alongside contemporary design elements like exotic woods and antique decor. Despite no specific opening date, anticipation builds as the restaurant prepares to welcome both loyal patrons and new diners.
We're excited to bring a revitalized Crustacean to a new space with modern design and fresh energy.
The 82-year-old Master Chef Helene An's menu favorites like the crab with garlic noodles will all be coming to the new location.
Furnishings in the space are made with exotic woods, and there is rose gold metal lattice artwork as well.
The new restaurant will include lots of wood accents, traditional bamboo wall coverings, and a one-of-a-kind set of 18th century Asian carved wood doors.
