Portland's dining scene has experienced notable closures, including upscale restaurant Fallow's Rest Wild, which will focus on another venture. Hello Little India, a family-run business since 1991, has also shut its doors, with Yelp confirming its closure. Additionally, the food cart NoPoBoys on NE 14th Avenue is now for sale, signaling a potential for change in ownership or rebranding. These closures highlight the evolving nature of Portland's restaurants and bars, prompting community engagement to ensure awareness of all changes.
Bridgetown Bites caught the farewell post from Fallow's Rest Wild on social media and wrote a send-off, too. Owners Paul Arnold and Marne Minard told the outlet they wanted to focus on their other restaurant, Bastion, and return to being "small restaurant people."
Hello Little India had closed; Yelp users confirmed the news. The family-run outfit lived next door to favorites Bagdad Theater & Pub and the former Harlow location - now bar Afterlife and vegan fast food dealer Gnarly's.
A three-year-old food cart on NE 14th Avenue is up for sale. NoPoBoys took to Instagram to announce the business will be operational until it sells, meaning the new owner could keep things the same or rebrand.
