DK Metcalf remained in Baltimore after stomach pains on the team plane, was sent to a Baltimore-area hospital for evaluation, and is expected back Monday.
PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers defense will get a boost from at least two starters returning from injury for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns - and one more could be available, too. Cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who hasn't played since injuring his hamstring in the Week 1 win against the Jets, is off the injury report, as is pass rusher Alex Highsmith, who sprained his ankle in Week 2.
Gonzalez has been a limited participant in practice each day since returning to the field on Sept. 17 as he ramps up to make his 2025 season debut. The star cornerback suffered the ailment on July 28 and did not practice for nearly two months. After a lengthy recovery time, it seems like Gonzalez's chances of suiting up versus the Panthers are high.

But next up on the schedule for Peppers was the Patriots, and let's just say that he was really looking to make an impact against the team that moved on from him.
