Maxwell Hiller, No. 2 OT in class of 2027, commits to Florida
"I took so many visits to Penn State while he was there. I've trained with him. I've watched him work with players. He's more than a coach for me. He's my guy. That relationship right there is a huge part of why we got interested in Florida."
"Once you get that feeling that that's the place that you want to be, you know it's time. I got that feeling down there."
Maxwell Hiller, a five-star offensive tackle from Pennsylvania, has committed to Florida, becoming the highest-ranked recruit under coach Jon Sumrall. Hiller, ranked No. 2 among offensive tackles for 2027, visited Florida in late March and decided against further trips to other schools. His commitment is a notable achievement for Sumrall since taking over. Hiller's relationship with ex-Penn State coach Phil Trautwein played a crucial role in his decision, as he felt a strong connection with the Gators during his visits.
