A 15-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder after allegedly shooting a 29-year-old man in broad daylight in the Bronx.
Witnesses reported the shooting occurred around 2:42 p.m. on November 27, near the Bronx County Hall of Justice, highlighting the brazen nature of the crime.
The young shooter, after being spotted by police taking aim at the victim, fled the scene but was apprehended after a foot chase of about half a mile.
Police indicated the investigation is ongoing; the incident is part of a concerning trend as the 44th Precinct recorded 14 homicides so far this year.
