Staten Island detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of 43-year-old Jennira Roundtree at her home, marking the first murder reported on the island in 2025.
The incident occurred at the West Brighton NYCHA complex on January 7, resulting in Roundtree being found with multiple stab wounds; she later died at Richmond University Medical Center.
As of now, there have been no arrests made, and police sources have not identified a motive or potential suspect in the ongoing investigation.
