Donalda Ferreira, a 62-year-old woman, tragically lost her life when she was struck by a Chevy Sonic while crossing President Avenue in Fall River.
The Bristol County District Attorney's office confirmed that the incident occurred around 9 p.m., and the driver, a 42-year-old woman, was not under the influence during the incident.
As investigations continue, authorities have not disclosed the identity of the driver involved in the fatal crash, leaving several questions unanswered.
