Jadore Reid is accused of fatally shooting Assam Alshaif in the Bronx after following him off a bus. Reid shot Alshaif in the head and continued firing as the victim lay on the ground. The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. and was captured on surveillance cameras. Police apprehended Reid shortly after the shooting. He faces charges of murder, manslaughter, and weapons possession, with a judge ordering him held without bail. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
