A 22-year-old man was injured early Friday morning in Newark due to a shooting incident, which the police responded to at approximately 4:50 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the man with a single gunshot wound and provided immediate medical assistance while waiting for the Alameda County Fire Department.
While no arrests have been made in connection to the case, police are seeking information from the public to aid in the investigation.
