Man charged with murder of pioneering NYC musician found dead inside private ambulette: police

Sharief Bodden, 29, of the Bronx, was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and drug and weapon possession in connection to the death of Peter Forrest, 64.
Forrest, who was employed by the Long Island-based Marquis Ambulette, was pronounced dead at the scene and sustained trauma all over his body.
The victim, who lived about 5 miles away in the Allerton neighborhood, was part of the original lineup of South Bronx-based rock band 24-7 Spyz under pseudonym P. Fluid.
Forrest was a founding member of the Black Rock Coalition, according to his former girlfriend, who described him as a good person who loved music.
