Crazed gunman who shot up Jacobi ER in NYC sentenced to 12 years in prison

The hospital was temporarily shut down in the wake of the shooting, while the injured man was taken to the operating room for treatment.
In addition to 12 years behind bars, Martinez will also have to undergo five years of post-release supervision.
