A 17-year-old boy was shot near a Miami-Dade apartment complex on Tuesday night, shortly after police were alerted via ShotSpotter.
Officers discovered the teenager with a gunshot wound around 8:22 p.m. and ensured he was taken to Jackson South Medical Center in stable condition.
Despite the incident, no arrests have been made yet, and the Miami-Dade Police are actively continuing their investigation into the shooting.
