On August 14, at around 7:41 p.m., officers from the 42nd Precinct responded to a 911 call on West Farms Rd, finding the infant Jazeli Mirabal in the bathtub, unconscious and unresponsive.
Authorities stated that police are questioning Jazeli's mother, who reportedly left the child alone in the tub while running an errand, with no prior history of domestic violence noted in the home.
