House S / Yonder - Architektur und Design
Briefly

With Haus S, a couple wanted a house that could grow from a holiday home into a retirement residence, using a design that could adapt over time.
The initial plan for maximum height and minimum area faced local opposition, leading to a downsized design with open spaces and a sauna annex embedded in the ground floor.
Located on a challenging steep slope, the house contributes to rural consolidation and preserves an old tree by integrating it with the sauna hut.
The construction minimizes environmental impact through simple timber usage and efficient heating, balancing sustainability with the comfort needed for a home across generations.
