The MTA has unveiled a rendering of the new electric train that will connect Brooklyn and Queens
Briefly

The city's public transportation is on the verge of transformation with the MTA set to invest over $2 billion for the Interborough Express, connecting Queens and Brooklyn.
Governor Kathy Hochul emphasized the need to reconnect neighborhoods affected by highways, stating, 'Stronger rapid transit in Brooklyn and Queens is long overdue' during her State of the State Address.
The line will enhance public transport by servicing 19 stations and linking to 17 subway lines, ultimately revolutionizing commuting patterns in the outer boroughs.
Although the $2 billion investment is promising, it only accounts for half of the projected $5.5 billion cost, with full funding expected post-2030.
