Ferdinando's Focacceria, one of the oldest Italian restaurants, closed its doors after 121 years of operation. The family-run restaurant announced its closure, citing unforeseen circumstances and the owner's health issues as primary reasons. Francesco "Frank" Buffa, the 75-year-old owner, noted his inability to continue working long hours due to back problems and expressed reluctance to pass the restaurant to anyone else. Buffa plans to take time off and hopes to find a new tenant who will respect the legacy of Ferdinando's Focacceria.
