""Keeping the $6 price cap in place since 2017 hasn't been easy," said John Wang, founder of Queens Night Market, citing 35% inflation and tariffs. "It's required the leanest of business models, passing every possible cost saving along to the vendors, and ultimately to the customers.""
"The Queens Night Market has featured cuisines from over 100 countries, launched 500 new businesses, and attracted over four million people to Queens over its decade-plus run."
The Queens Night Market is set to return for its 11th season with a sneak preview on April 18 at the New York Hall of Science. This open-air food market has showcased cuisines from over 100 countries and attracted millions. This year, over 60 vendors will offer a variety of dishes while maintaining a $6 price cap for one last year, despite economic challenges. Tickets for the preview events are available online and at the door, with a portion of proceeds going to charity.
