Frenchette Bakery Opens at the Whitney Museum
Briefly

The new restaurant at the Whitney Museum of American Art is here: Frenchette Bakery opened in the museum's lobby this week, taking over the space that was home to Danny Meyer restaurant, Untitled, for almost a decade.
The menu is similar at the Whitney, for now: Pistachio croissants, kouign amman, and other pastries are baked on the premises. They are sold from a pastry case alongisde premade sandwiches, like a tuna Nicoise with caper mayonnaise and a jambon beurre, that start at around $15. To drink, there is coffee, tea, fruit juices, and hot chocolate, a specialty of the shop made with toasted chartreuse marshmallows.
