Fashion Icon Louis Vuitton and Restaurateur Stephen Starr Debut a Midtown Cafe
Briefly

Stephen Starr's new café, Le Cafe Louis Vuitton, at Louis Vuitton's Manhattan flagship, aims to redefine luxury casual dining with a library theme and Michelin-chef overseen menu.
Starr describes the cuisine as 'fine food, beautifully prepared, not super precious, and not tweezer food.' Chef Christophe Bellanca was selected for his ability to adapt to the desired style.
The café operates in collaboration with Louis Vuitton’s consulting chefs, including Arnaud Donckele, who has two three-star Michelin restaurants, and pastry chef Maxime Frédéric.
The restaurant will only be in operation for a couple of years during the renovations of the Louis Vuitton store, raising questions about its future post-renovation.
