The Vietnamese restaurant Blossom in Atwater Village, which opened in 2021 and served its final bowl of noodles on November 17, just flipped into a casual Italian restaurant called Spina.
Cruz, who was mentored by Eataly's executive chef Antonio Giordano and spent time in the kitchens of Terroni, L'antica Pizzeria Da Michele, and Terra at Eataly, is preparing classic Italian recipes with a special focus on pasta.
