Vegas PBS seeks to dismiss lawsuits filed by former employee
Briefly

Terry Chi, a former director of digital marketing at Vegas PBS, is suing the station and several individuals for defamation and discrimination after her contract was not renewed. Chi filed two lawsuits, one in the Clark County district court alleging defamation from local community members and Vegas PBS executives, and another in federal court claiming discrimination and retaliation based on her Asian ethnicity and a disability. The defendants, including the station's GM, are seeking to dismiss both lawsuits, labeling Chi's claims as trivial grievances.
Plaintiff's Complaint is primarily a running list of perceived slights and petty grievances against the various defendants in this case, rather than legitimate claims of discrimination.
