The rehabilitation and extension of the former 'Indústria Alimentar Trofense' into the Trofa City Hall addresses the municipality's long-standing need for a central institutional building. The design preserves the old structure while introducing new components, creating a modern, efficient space for municipal services. With careful consideration of durability and sustainability, the building encompasses an underground floor and five adjoining sections, allowing for effective public interaction and aesthetic integration with the surroundings. The project reflects a commitment to architectural integrity within a limited budget, promoting long-lasting civic engagement.
This project strategically reuses the existing industrial complex, enhancing Trofa’s urban landscape while ensuring the City Hall's functions are effectively housed in a modern setting.
The architectural design effectively integrates modern construction with the preservation of the old industrial building, resulting in a functional user-friendly administrative center.
