Briefly

In the podcast 'Mind Matters: Academia's Mental Health Crisis,' host Adam Levy discusses academic burnout, particularly how high levels of commitment and passion for research can lead to overwhelming workloads. Astrophysicist Kelly Korreck shares insights from her own experience, detailing her hectic work life leading up to the pandemic and the shift in her work dynamics that contributed to her intense burnout. The episode emphasizes the importance of addressing academic burnout and advocating for mental health in academia.
