About 64% of HR managers use AI to complete some tasks, according to a recent survey from MyPerfectResume. Those tasks include writing job descriptions and ads, candidate screenings and resume analyses.
The report found ethical concerns, such as data privacy (23% of respondents) and bias in AI-driven decision making (17%), are high. About 26% of those surveyed have opted not to incorporate AI into their operations.
Attorneys have warned companies to be cautious when using AI for any HR functions because of concerns over potential liability and workplace laws - specifically the potential for injecting bias into processes.
