Sportsmen Training Center in Druskininkai / Architekturos linija
Briefly

Designed in a fragile natural area, the largest athlete training centre in Lithuania harmonizes rational shapes with an expressive terrain, enhancing its surrounding scenic nature.
The varying-height gymnasiums avoid overwhelming the natural environment, emphasizing scenic grandeur and employing principles of perspective to reduce perceived building aggression.
A colourful ground-level strip adorned with Olympic colours attracts attention, while natural copper was chosen for durability against sap and pollen from surrounding pine trees.
The hall is designed for versatility, allowing two separate training areas with curtains, and accommodating up to 600 spectators for larger competitions.
