Employees already taking the drugs will be briefly grandfathered in until either June 2025 or the expiration of their prescription authorization, whichever comes first.
Another city employee mentioned considering taking a compounded version of his brand-name prescription to save money, indicating the financial struggle that discontinuation brings.
