Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal two-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred this morning at approximately 9.20 a.m. near Johnstown, Co. Wexford.
The motorcycle driver, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle, a woman in her 60s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The R742 road is currently closed as Forensic Collision Investigators conduct a technical examination of the scene. Local diversions have been implemented.
Gardaí request any witnesses or individuals with relevant dash-cam footage from the area between 8.30am and 9.30am this morning to come forward.
