At approximately 11:55 PM, a driver was fatally injured when his jeep struck an electricity pole on East Wall Road, prompting immediate emergency response.
Despite the serious nature of the incident, the gardaí reported that no other injuries occurred, though they have closed East Wall Road for investigation.
