Gardaí are investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian and a car in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, and seek witnesses and video footage.
The incident occurred shortly after 9:00pm on New Street, resulting in the death of a male pedestrian in his 70s, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services responded promptly, and the site of the collision has been preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí urge anyone with information or dash-cam footage from the incident to contact Newcastlewest Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line.
